KIOXIA Corporation have informed you that distribution of new firmware for EXCERIA PLUS G2 SSD, EXCERIA PLUS SSD, EXCERIA SSD, TOSHIBA SSD RD500 SSD and RC500 were temporarily stopped on July 16, 2021. The firmware update program which fixed the firmware update problem is ready. In order to update the firmware of your SSD, please download the Windows version of a version 5.3.0004 from Web site of SSD Utility or Legacy SSD Utility, and install it.
These firmware updates aim to address critical bugs and/or improve the reliability and performance of your SSD. It is strongly recommended that you update your SSD firmware.
We strongly recommend that you install SSD Utility management software for your SSD, and update your SSD firmware.
